Accessibility Statement

Amanda's Macaron Shoppe wants everyone to be able to browse and order from our website, including people with disabilities.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Those are the widely used standards for making websites usable for people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

What we do

  • Write descriptive alt text for product images
  • Make sure the site can be navigated with a keyboard and works with screen readers
  • Keep text color contrast readable
  • Offer an accessibility toolbar (the icon at the side of the page) that lets you adjust text size, contrast, spacing and other display settings

Known limitations

Some parts of our site come from third-party providers, such as checkout, customer reviews and embedded media. We can't fully control their accessibility, but we choose providers that work toward accessibility standards. We test and update the site on an ongoing basis, and some pages may not yet fully meet our goal.
